I poked about and didn't see a thread on jazz guitar. So here I am, starting one up. Some favorites of mine (guitarist and fave album):

Grant Green - Solid
Herb Ellis - Nothing But The Blues
Barney Kessel - Kessel Plays Standards, Vol. 1
Jim Hall - Concierto (AWESOME album)

Anyone have any particular favorites?

Fayette County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. As of 2000, the population was 21,804. Its county seat is La Grange. Fayette is named for the Marquis de la Fayette, a French nobleman who became an American Revolutionary War hero. Fayette County is the location of the real Chicken Ranch, which was the basis of the movie The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

Looking for source info for the marriage of Zachary FERGUSON (son of William(son) and ____ FERGUSON); and Adelia GRIFFITH (dau of Nathan & Margaret GRIFFITH).

Both parties lived in Jasper Twp, Fayette County in the 1870 Census with their respective parents.  So it seems logical they were married in Jasper.

How would I locate this record?

My source for this specific date and that it was in Fayette Co, OH was Zachary's obituary dated 30 Apr 1936 in the "Demo" in Cass County, MO.  Obviously that was 66 years after the fact, so I'd like the original record.

Thanks,

Rob Thomas

I am looking for property records for William(son) FERGUSON (born in VA about 1812) who was allegedly in OH in time for his first son Caleb to be born in OH by 1838.

William(son) FERGUSON was in Jasper Twp in 1850, 1860, 1870, & 1880 US censuses with his many kids.  He had a wife (Elizabeth) in 1850; no wife in 1860; and Jemima in 1870 & 1880 censuses.

I am interested in finding property records for him indicating when/where he first purchased property, and where/when he sold it (along with source info).

Who would I contact to obtain these types of records?

Are there any volunteers to help look this type of info up?

I'd be happy to pay for photocopy & mailing expenses.

His son, Zachary/Zacharias FERGUSON, was b 2 Nov 1848 in Sabina, Fayette Co, OH.  I am also interested in finding a source for his birth record.  Would that be from the town?  county? local church?

Any help is appreciated!

Hello - I am researching the Kelley family dating back to the late 1800s.  Lorie (Kelley) Swank was my grandmother and I have records indicating her siblings were born and in some cases, passed in Washington Court House.  I believe her father, Allen, also passed in WCH.  Does anyone have records to help me confirm my findings?

My great great grandmother was Catherine Kelly. She was married to Issac Allfry (Allfree, Allfrey). She was born in Virginia. I am uncertain when the family came to Ohio but I am guessing it was in the early 1800s. They lived in or around Wayne-Marion Twp. in Fayette Co.
